Hyundai A League Soccer Final

We were sad to leave our team the Phoenix behind when we moved to Sydney and have been considering who to support here. We got tickets to the final last weekend. We drove to the ferry, ferried to the city, and took a bus to near the Sydney Football Stadium and walked the rest of the way. Wow any of you that have been to Westpac Stadium in Wellington will know how cool the soccer is. Well the atmosphere was amazing and it was so cool to be a part of it. We decided to support the Jets, which was good as they won. We had a really cool time - but have to say not quite the same as supporting the Phoenix. Next season we will have to get new supporters gear!! By the was there were about 35,000 people there. Walking back to the bus after, there were lots of bats flying overhead and boy are they noisy.

Molly's Birthday

Thanks to everyone for the lovely present sent to Molly - she even had a card arrive on the day (Thanks Deb, Matt and co). We had a lovely night and went to Max Brenna's in Manly for dessert (everything they sell if to do with chocolate). Molly managed to eat two desserts. Here she is weatring her new outfit from Edith and Glen. Thanks everyone.

New Photos

Here are a couple of shots of the kids at the Chines Gardens in Darling Harbour - we went there on an extremely hot day - hard to remember now with all the rain we have had - but we had a lovely day.

The Ferry

We love catching the ferry to the city. We park in Manly - grab a Boost for the trip (smoothies) that the kids love and sit back and relax. Noah loves it as you can see - you can even grab a coffee. Also the scenery/view on the way it amazing and each time we still love it.

Scooter Boy

Andy decided after too many buses not turning up that he needed an alternate form of travel. He decided a scooter was the way to go. He can scooter down to the ferry in Manly in about 7 minutes - and then take the ferry and hop off and walk a couple of minutes over the road to his office. It makes the world of difference to his day - he went from talking 1hr 40mins some days to 40 mins to get home. (More time for him to work ;) ). So he is much happier and comes home laughing after the trip hoe. Also great for a trip to the shops!
